Hawaiian Quilt - Ulu in Mocha on Off White
Hawaii's most popular design. Because of the significance to the Hawaiian people the Ulu (Breadfruit) design is very traditional. Symbolizing good luck, the Ulu, a food pattern is often the first design a quilter will do when learning how to quilt and when celebrating a "first." Often given as gifts for weddings, birthdays, graduation, the Ulu design is our top seller here in Hawaii.
Some of our most popular items are our Hand Quilted, custom, Hawaiian Bed Spreads. Each of our "Kapa Lau" (Hawaiian Quilt) is hand quilted by Master Quilters taught in the traditional Hawaiian Art and style of quilting. Each Quilt has over 250,000 stitches and average 6-8 stitches per inch. We applique designs using the hidden or "blind" stitch onto the background material that is then quilted with a ripple or echo pattern. Matching Pillow Shams Included.
