Hawaiian Quilt - Ulu in Green on Mocha
Hawaii's most popular design. Because of the significance to the Hawaiian people the Ulu (Breadfruit) design is very traditional. Symbolizing good luck, the Ulu, a food pattern is often the first design a quilter will do when learning how to quilt and when celebrating a "first." Often given as gifts for weddings, birthdays, graduation, the Ulu design is our top seller here in Hawaii. Available in any color combo you prefer, the more traditional color is the deep hunter green. Looks fantastic with rich wood furniture, for the Hardcore Hawaiian, this is a must for a Koa Bed.
Some of our most popular items are our Hand Quilted, custom, Hawaiian Bed Spreads. Each of our "Kapa Lau" (Hawaiian Quilt) is hand quilted by Master Quilters taught in the traditional Hawaiian Art and style of quilting. Each Quilt has over 250,000 stitches and average 6-8 stitches per inch. We applique designs using the hidden or "blind" stitch onto the background material that is then quilted with a ripple or echo pattern. Matching Pillow Shams Included.
